'What a lovely place to get away. The building had quaint charm and my room was cozy and welcoming. All I needed for a fire was ready to go, bed and bedding was luxurious and comfortable, coffee for the morning with REAL creamer in the fridge. The dining room and common sitting room was inviting and decorated beautifully. My made to order breakfast was healthy and delicious. Biggest treat was the personable staff. True locals that treated me like a new friend.'

'The Expedia listing states that this property has a free continental breakfast. The owner told us that there is no breakfast during the week, but he makes breakfast for guests on the weekend. This should be detailed on Expedia. '

'Beautiful hotel with rooms that could use a refresh and/ or maintenance. Easy walk to town or opt for free shuttle. Making reservation online the room I chose appeared to be on a beautiful waterscaped garden. However, the room I got was overlooking grass. The check-in was mediocre. The clerk could not answer the few questions I asked and wasn’t engaged.'

Biggest complaint was the AC unit sounded like something was being thrown around inside of it and the mattress topper on the bed was too small so it continually came off the bed throughout the night . Good value for the price and location . '

'Great place to stay, we had a feel of our native place, superior architecture, little old but maintained well. Carved Wooden furniture gave nice feeling of ancient time. We had a short trip so we booked there for 1 night only, wish we could have planned more and explore more there.'
