Rodney was a great host, offered a lot of extra tips to enjoy the area. The cottage was lovely, it has everything we needed to enjoy some relaxing beach time. We really enjoyed the cool mornings on the porch, coffee time, watching the humming birds enjoying all the flowers in the yard. High recommend for some down time.

Cozy, clean, and quiet!

We loved staying at Rodney’s. The space was just pristine, both inside and out. Quiet neighborhood in a great location and close to downtown. We loved sitting outside and watching all the hummingbirds and pollinators. Rodney’s communication was excellent - very responsive. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in San Diego!

Weekend Getaway was perfect!

We came for a weekend getaway from NorCal and could not have been more pleased and delighted with this charming, light filled, and perfectly decorated cottage. It’s located in a lovely and safe neighborhood a short distance from the airport, within walking distance to many places and a short Uber distance to most major sights. The front porch (with some ocean view) and surrounding outside space and gardens give fabulous access to an outdoor space.The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. This place exceeded all of my expectations. And Rodney was a terrific host, making himself immediately accessible. However, we didn’t need a thing or have a single issue. Our stay was perfect. And we will come back.

Great stay in OB!

We rented this cute little cottage for a short visit to OB. Walking distance to Newport Ave, Sunset Cliffs, and the beaches, it was exactly what we needed. The place is in very good condition and well maintained. The owner was great with communication too. Thanks!

Perfect Spot, just off the beaten path!

This was a PERFECT spot for my family of four’s, first time visit to the San Diego area. This cottage is within walking distance to a beautiful scenic beach area and just a short drive to all that the San Diego area has to offer. Rodney was very responsive and accommodating and had offered many suggestions for local spots. We would definitely recommend staying to anyone planning a visit…GREAT TIMES!!!

This beautiful cottage home is located in a great neighborhood, close to the water and within walking distance of many restaurants. Winter getaway

We were in town to visit our SDSU student for a long weekend. The house is in walking distance to OB beaches and restaurants which was great since parking is always a challenge in San Diego. The house is a very cute little beach cottage in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was a perfect home base for us. Because it is a cottage, the kitchen is small - all we needed for a long weekend. Everything was clean and comfortable. The linens in the bath are due for an update, but everything else was great and Rodney was very helpful.

The location of the cottage was great! Walking distance to everything in ocean beach! Rodney was an amazing host as well! We really enjoyed our stay. Only downside was the cottage got cold at night as there are no heat vents in the rooms.

Beautiful!

What a beautiful and peaceful property! The landscaping is amazing and the neighborhood is quiet. Close to the beach and within walking distance of numerous coffee stands. We highly recommend this stay and will definitely book again in the future!

Ocean Beach Stay

The neighborhood this rental is in is one of the cutest, pedestrian friendly and nicest neighborhoods I have ever stayed in. Rodney gave us tons of recommendations on local places. Ocean beach is a nice chill beach frequented by locals. The rental is cute and clean. On street parking. No AC which is the norm in San Diego. Several fans provided for comfort. Comfortable tempurpedic beds.
