Host never sent us check in instrucitons... This was the second time we rented it and it will be the last. The day we showed up there was no info or code for door.. We tried texting, messaging, calling and no response (no response even after several days) -- Eventually we called VRBO and they couldn't get ahold of rodney so they refunded our money.So fine, we have our money back but now it's 6:00PM and we need to find a place to stay which was a huge pain.Avoid

Rodney was a great host, offered a lot of extra tips to enjoy the area. The cottage was lovely, it has everything we needed to enjoy some relaxing beach time. We loved staying at Rodney’s. The space was just pristine, both inside and out. Quiet neighborhood in a great location and close to downtown. We loved sitting outside and watching all the hummingbirds and pollinators. Rodney’s communication was excellent - very responsive. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in San Diego!

Weekend Getaway was perfect!

We came for a weekend getaway from NorCal and could not have been more pleased and delighted with this charming, light filled, and perfectly decorated cottage. It’s located in a lovely and safe neighborhood a short distance from the airport, within walking distance to many places and a short Uber distance to most major sights. The front porch (with some ocean view) and surrounding outside space and gardens give fabulous access to an outdoor space.The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. This place exceeded all of my expectations. And Rodney was a terrific host, making himself immediately accessible. However, we didn’t need a thing or have a single issue. Our stay was perfect. And we will come back.

Perfect Spot, just off the beaten path!

This was a PERFECT spot for my family of four’s, first time visit to the San Diego area. This cottage is within walking distance to a beautiful scenic beach area and just a short drive to all that the San Diego area has to offer. Winter getaway

We were in town to visit our SDSU student for a long weekend. The house is in walking distance to OB beaches and restaurants which was great since parking is always a challenge in San Diego. The house is a very cute little beach cottage in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was a perfect home base for us. Because it is a cottage, the kitchen is small - all we needed for a long weekend. Everything was clean and comfortable. The linens in the bath are due for an update, but everything else was great and Rodney was very helpful.
