Close enough to gas lamp so you can go out whenever you want. But far enough away where you can’t hear the drunk “Wooo!!” girls at night.

I recently stayed at your establishment and wanted to provide some feedback regarding my check-out experience and the quality of the bedding. Firstly, while I understand the necessity of adhering to check-out times, I found it slightly disruptive and uncomfortable to have staff knocking on the door while I was still in the process of getting ready to leave. Perhaps a gentler approach or a reminder prior to the designated check-out time could help alleviate this issue for guests. Additionally, I must mention that I found the bedding to be less than satisfactory, as it was causing discomfort and itchiness. Ensuring the comfort of guests during their stay is paramount, and I believe addressing the quality of the sheets could significantly enhance the overall experience. This is my second stay here and honestly there is really no complaints other than the rooms are small. I am not sure if all the rooms are this way. They may have bigger rooms for a bigger price but haven't seen or found them. Staff is always great here & rooms have always been super clean. Hotel is very updated vs the more expensive ones like the hyaat grand in downtown san diego which all rooms are very out datedand kind of run down and you end up paying 600 a night. All in all i will keep staying here for any reason wether it be a staycation or just to be in downtown San Diego. Parking is now $60 A night but if you go to park it on market its 15 a night and was shown by the valet attendant which is only a couple of blocks down.

We stayed here one night. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly bartender and checked in. The lobby was cute and funky and we felt pretty optimistic. Then we went up to our room- if you can even call it that. It was more like a closet. The blowdryer was broken, fixtures were old, and our heater didn’t work. We ended up going out and when we came back we were pretty hungry, but unfortunately their kitchen was closed and there was no room service available. So we went to bed cold and hungry. The bed was rock hard and you can feel the springs. The only positive for us was the location. We were so surprised that this was a Marriott establishment- usually they hold their hotels to a higher standard. They also charged $60 for overnight valet. Will not be staying again.

Loved the vibe, decor, & location. Relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The hotel is close to many restaurants which proved invaluable when I had to find a place to eat late at night. The only hiccup was they said the kitchen was open until 10pm when we checked in. When we went to order some food, they closed it early. So at 9:40pm I was unable to order food.

There is no coffee service in the room. The rooms are so small that there is no room to work, no dresser, no closet. While it's decorated nicely and the staff was nice, I'm unlikely to stay there again.

Great hotel, I love the Moxy! Valet parking is $60 and staff greets you warmly. Check in as at the bar and you get 1 complimentary drink with your room up until 1am. There are a lot of fun activities in the lobby you can do like life-sized games. They have a snack room too where you can purchase food and they also have a microwave. Would come again!

An excellent area - especially if you are looking for lots of places to eat and bars. Close to public transport. Walking distance for many places. The hotel has a great vibe. Loved the bar downstairs with board games and friendly staff. The room we stayed in was quite small. We were travelling with two large suitcases and had to put one on the floor and one raised on a chair.

Over night trip in SD, the hotel was nice, the personnel was friendly but the rooms are really, really small and the floor in our room was dirty. When I wiped floor with wet towel because the floor was sticky to walk on, the towel became filthy.

Hotel was great, room was lovely
Hotel was great, room was lovely. Was a little noisy in the morning as my room was right next to the housekeepers utility cupboard. The area around the hotel wasn't as nice as I was expecting.
