To begin with, the front desk staff were unwelcoming and uncaring.
The parking spaces are ridiculously tight around the hotel, that once you park, you can’t open the doors! Plus, there was additional charge per night for parking, which was not expected.
The breakfast kitchen is utter chaos with things placed around in no proper order and people literally walking over one another to get an item! The kitchen staff were always so rude and had no interest to listen to what people needed. Very rude to kids as well when they asked anything. All food gets over 15-30 mins prior to closing time and they don’t bother to refill on time. If you ask for refills, they either shrug and say no since they are about to close, or refill with a completely new item, where everyone again plays tug of war to get it! Felt like a low budget kitchen show!
The rooms were spacious and beautiful but aren’t maintained well. Our kitchen had a heavy stench and i had to boil coffee and later buy a room freshener and keep near the sink to get rid of the smell. Our bathroom sink could not drain water, so there was water backing up and filling the sink any time we opened the pipe, which was gross and yucky! I never felt clean coming out of there!
Our room telephone lines weren’t working either!
For the price we pay for Homewood Suites, this was an extremely poor experience. Homewood Suites in other locations are way better. So this location needs to up its game!
