Escape to tranquil Ocean Beach! Enjoy stunning sunsets, coastal hikes, and relaxation at our cozy 2-bed, 2.5-bath retreat. Book now for beach bliss!
Located just one and a half block away from the ocean with a Incredible ocean views from the private rooftop patio, this modern 2 story house plus private rooftop deck has two bedrooms with full baths (downstairs) plus queen sofa sleeper and twin sofa sleeper (upstairs). Modern appliances including keurig coffee maker, granite kitchen counters, AC, and washer and dryer. Two queen beds in master bedroom on first floor plus one queen bed in the other master bedroom, on first floor (ground floor) with TV and enclosed outside private deck. Queen sofa sleeper upstairs in living room and twin sofa sleeper upstairs by the dining room. The house accommodates comfortably 9 guests. Most of San Diego costal houses don't have air-conditioning, however our house has one Air conditioner unit upstairs in the living area. Downstairs is always cooler than upstairs and we have fans in each bedroom plus a central fan.
Our private rooftop offers a propane barbecue grill, one big table, bar stools and a fire pit in the lounge area.
The house offers two Beach chairs, two Boogie boards, 9 beach towels and beach toys.Two Smart TVs with Amazon, YouTubeTV, Netflix, HBOMax, Hulu Disney+etc.
Private Carport access through alley behind house, one car spot on the west side, plus free street parking.
This is a calm neighborhood so please we don't allow parties.
The house is located just one mile to ocean beach and a short walk to sunset cliffs beach (access to sunset cliffs beach is rocky), walking distance to restaurants, and 4 miles away from San Diego airport. There is no yard or lawn. Key code lock access. We are pet friendly with a pet fee of $70/ pet/stay. Maximum of 2 dogs.

The rooftop was such a nice touch, fire pit and plenty of seating. The living rooms was very comfortable and relaxing with a fireplace! The bedrooms were nice as well, with comfortable bedding and clean restrooms.The hosts were extremely friendly, kind and responsive! Highly recommend! This was our first time using VRBO and the experience was great from end to end.

Great Spot in Ocean Beach

We spent 2 nights here for a local university’s accepted student day, but wish we could have stayed a week. Spacious, quiet, ocean views from a private rooftop deck and easy one block walk to the coast. Cool breezes off the ocean. Two levels, bedrooms on first floor, common living areas on second and then outdoor staircase to rooftop deck. Smaller deck spaces on second floor. And all for a fantastic price. We hope to return.

Everything you need

Once again San Diego did not disappoint and neither did our VRBO. This was the most well stocked property I have ever stayed at. It had literally eveything you could need. It is in a great location… close to all that San Diego has to offer. The property manager was extremely responsive. There is a little convenient store two doors down which was a life saver for quick grab and go items. The only complaint I had was the master bedroom had a heavy odor of mildew in it. Obviously it’s bound to happen being so close to the ocean and having a bathroom located in the bedroom. It appears they are doing their best to manage it as they had moisture absorbing packs hanging throughout the room and bathroom. I would recommend this location to anyone and hope to be returning back. We had two adults and 4 teenage boys and fit well at the property.

The host was very responsive and the kitchen was well stocked. The house is very close to the beach. I only gave 4 stars on the location and neighborhood is the carport is a little small and the entry is an alley.

The house is in a perfect location for access to so many key attractions - and provided beautiful views of the ocean and sunset. Kitchen was well stocked - we made dinner most nights and enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets. Overall it was mostly clean, although the kitchen counters were a bit dusty and we found black hair & dust in the drawers under one of the beds. The owners were responsive and booking and check in was very easy.

Hilda was very accommodating and responsive. Roof deck is a major plus in this area. Parking is tight but great to have as street parking here is challenging.The only small negatives is some neighbor noise on occasion and the TV's are small and challenging to navigate. The one in the bedroom is useless to navigate apps. Hopefully, they will upgrade.

The trip was wonderful! The house was perfect for our family and adventure! I loved the communication with our host! So very helpful! The welcome book helped us know what to do and places to go. The shop on the corner was helpful when we needed those forgotten items. The beach is close as well. House was clean and had everything we needed. We will stay again!

Ocean breezes to soothe your soul

Clean and lovely property! I loved all of the natural light and cross-breezes when windows and doors were opened. Kitchen: Beautiful, well-stocked and functional. Spices were appreciated (thank you). Lots of pots/pans. 2cup pyrex measure cup. 9×13 glass dish. Mixing bowls + a couple of small leftovers containers with lids. Keurig. 4-slot toaster. Small toaster oven. Microwave. Full sized oven with gas stove top. Lots of nice utensils/plates/bowls/glasses. Even a few lil kid plastic cups/bowls. Nice knives & cooking utensils. Measuring cups/spoons. Plenty of pantry space & countertop space. Bathrooms: Quality toilet paper and shower amenities were appreciated (thank you!). Balcony: It was amazing! Outstanding ocean breeze and views up there. Grill and eating area were nice. Loved the gas fire place near the balcony lounge furniture. Favorite part of the house! FYI if you are bringing dogs: there's not really a yard space for them to potty. There is a tiny grassy side yard but not very human accessible because the entry way on both ends is blocked by large plants, so we avoided using it. My dogs were a lil out of sorts about sidewalk potty. Also, outdoor yard area is lovely, but not fenced. Our dogs obey off-leash so no probs, but good to know for dog owners. Outdoor hose was appreciated for dog & human sandy feet before going inside. Our dogs loved dog beach, and we loved our stay! We would definitely stay here again on a future San Diego trip.
