Lovely furnished one bedroom apartment (located on 2nd floor) with stove, refrigerator, microwave and TV for your entertainment while you stay in Alamo City. It is conveniently located just off the access road to IH-35 North near The Pearl and downtown San Antonio. One can easily walk to Broadway Street for shopping, eating at a nice restaurant, or finding entertainment in The Pearl complex. Plus, the city bus is conveniently located back on Carson Street (2 blocks) to take you downtown to our famous River Walk and the Alamo. 6blocks from Ft Sam Houston's gate on New Braunfels Ave.

Just a lovely little place. Great experience all around. Close drive to everything important (Alamo, River Walk,etc.) One caution, if you’re a larger person or have mobility issues, the bathroom (toilet particularly) will be a serious challenge.

Exactly what we needed
Nice clean property. Easy off street parking out front. Not too much in the immediate area with respect to walking but just a quick few minute Uber ride to the Pearl district and maybe 6 or 7 minutes drive to the Riverwalk downtown. We had a car so both drove around town and utilized Uber. Location is super easy for highway access. Apartment was super clean and while we did not have any need to communicate with the host while on site, all the check in information and process was easy and seamless. Apartment is small and suited for 2 people but that was pretty clear on the listing and it was perfect for us as we did not spend much time on site as we were out most of the day and evening. I would stay here again if in the area. Thanks Phyllis!

Quite Quirky Comfort
The most awesome thing about the stay was the proximity to the Pearl. The layout of one bedroom is strange but functional. If you like super firm beds this is the place for you. The host very responsive and keeps a well maintained property. We would stay again.

What a surprise to find such a lovely, clean, well-supplied Vrbo rental. I truly enjoyed my stay. thought of every tiny detail from comfortable, soft linens to quality hand soap, coffee, hangars, dish soap, etc. The rental was so clean and beautifully decorated. I truly love your style and thank you for being so thoughtful. I'll leave a 5 star review for sure. Would you like me to put the trash in one of the bins outside?

Quaint but clean
Little things like the included coffee and bottled water, and daily trash pickup were nice, but it was not the best layout for a 'big man'. I'm 6'2", 270lb with worn knees. As such I found the stairs difficult and the bathroom layout even more difficult. Noise from I35 was significant waking me a few times. I liked the off-street parking, and it really was just minutes to everywhere I wanted to go. Overall, a positive experience, and I can easily recommend it to someone younger and spryer than myself.

Welcome hide-away
A very comfy and quiet apartment that has been thoughtfully furnished and cared for. The kitchen is fully equipped, with plates and cooking ware, and the cozy furniture and bed made for a lovely place to relax and work. The location wasn't ideal - near a large highway - but earplugs worked fine; also, the host's listed street address isn't recognized by Google Maps, leading me instead to wander around several blocks away until using a GPS-location number found on the host's website. All and all, though, good value and a place I'd recommend to others.
