'It was amazing overall and highly recommend. Very peaceful and beautiful. The only issue is was a ‘pet allowed’ cabin and we got tons of hair all over our clothes every time we sat down. Just need a pet hair removal vacuum and it would be perfect. Overall 9.5/10.'

'Cute and quaint, cozy little retreat in the woods. Lots of bird songs to hear, but note that sounds of nearby road are also noticeable. Enjoyed a few good movies as there is an interesting selection of dvds. It is perfectly relaxing; don't forget your bubblebath!'

'Spent our first night and husband and wife. Was nice to get away from the city without having to drive too much. No frills basic stay. No light pollution on the night of Perseids meteor shower made for some romantic star gazing. Mongolian yurts were interesting to see! Thanks for a nice stay!'

'A group of 5 of us stayed at this beautiful cabin for a long weekend. There was plenty of space for each of us to have our own bed and the 2 showers & provided towels was nice. Kitchen had essentials, some tea, oil, instant coffee and some leftover condiments in the fridge. 'The cabin was perfect for our family of five. The weather didn't cooperate for us our first night but having a fire and cozying up on the couch was a perfect way to spend an evening. The highlight for my three young children was a family of sea otters playing right along the shoreline. The location is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay here.'

'It was chilly and rainy when we arrived, Walter welcomed us with hot, home-made soup! He was readily available to answer questions. He even invited us to home-cooked breakfast one morning and it was beyond restaurant quality. The property felt cozy and private. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as observing visitors at the hummingbird feeder. Bus stop right by the driveway is a bonus! We will stay here again, without question :)'

'Fantastic vacation rental. Loved the look of the place inside and out. Very spacious and accommodated nine of us. The host Martina was very gracious and easy to converse with. The scenic view was fantastic. Not far from Duncan or Mill Bay. Would definitely recommend this property.'

'These chalets are gorgeous! My teenage daughter picked this spot to celebrate her 17th birthday and I wish we stayed longer than a weekend. I highly recommend this location especially for families. They have a ton of activities on the beach and watercraft to entertain kids of all ages. Hope to return soon!'

We were told we would be called the day before to be informed if we could have one - they never communicated with us. Our cottage (43) also had terrible water pressure.
