'Dit hotel heb ik (reisagent) geboekt als 5 sterren accomodatie. Het blijkt een 5 sterrenkeuken/restaurant te zijn met kamers. De hotelkamers doen ze er een beetje bij, als restaurantgasten willen blijven slapen, na hun diner. Er is ook geen aparte receptie, maar meteen bij de ingang een desk waar de restaurantgasten zich melden. Buitenkant en omgeving van hotel stelt erg teleur, verouderd, wordt nu wel geschilderd. 'We had a wonderful stay at Stanwell House Hotel. The staff are excellent, every member of the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 32, which was perfectly cosy with a very comfortable bed and offered lovely views. The breakfast was great—high quality and plenty of choice. My only minor note is that drinks can be quite expensive at the bar. Highly recommended for a boutique stay in Lymington!'
