Motels in Sagae

'Some rooms are in a Connex Box outside...'

'Classic Japanese interior with tatami flooring but more modern bedding. Walls are thin so be careful not to be too loud and disturb the others. I could hear the conversation of others when they walked by my door and in their rooms when I walked by theirs. Onsen was nice and has a small covered outdoor section. I went inbetween the peak seasons and you can see the the town itself asleep, so many shops were closed. I speak Japanese but the staff were quick to double check if I needed things to be...

'The only grand thing of this hotel is the entrance. Place is rundown. Room as well, so could not really tell if it was clean or not. I was there in november, the room was chilly and no possibility for heating. Plus it was noisy. It was a nonsmoking room now, but could tell it was a smokersroom before. Good thing: easy 15 min walk from trainstation and losts of restaurants in the vicinity.'

'Nette kamer, goed ontbijt '
