« Great cabin! We were stuck in Concan due to flooding. They went out of their way to help us and make sure that we had everything we needed. They extended our stay free of charge and were a pleasure to be around! Great people!!! »

« It was perfect, The cabin was beautiful. we saw lots of hummingbirds, beautiful birds, wild turkeys , deer, and bunny rabbits! The back deck was so nice to sit and relax! We wil definitely be coming back in the future! »

« Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. « Very clean and cozy place to stay. If you want to spend a weekend in Leaky, Uvalde area, this spot is a great option. 5 minutes to Leaky town (grocery and some local restaurants), 15 minutes to GSP. The host is very friendly. She let us early check in and provided all the instructions we need in for the stay. The checkout process is super straightforward as well. »

« We loved the cabin. Plenty of shade and trees to hang a swing and hammock from. Had so many activity items like corn hole, big jenga blocks, uno cards, and dominoes (to name a few). « August 2025 family vacation was great the whiskey mountain Valley Cabins were amazing from check in to check out. Check-in was a breeze. The owners made it very easy and very straightforward with how to check in, they even let us know if that the cabin was ready way before our check in. The kitchen was great. They were fully equipped with utensils, pots and pans they provided a coffee maker and microwave. Everything was great. The cabin was literally like in their description just minutes away...

« This spot is great if you are visiting the Hill Country for a float on the Frio or a hike in Garner State park. You bring your own linens and towels but everything else we needed was there. The hosts are super helpful and communicative. Would stay at one of their properties again in a heartbeat! »
