'We are at this Machiya on our recent holiday to Kyoto. The host Yuki introduced the place to us and we got to make macha together. It was a lovely place to stay and the outdoor bath was really nice especially as it is winter time now. It is located near Kyoto station and Gojo station. We also had the traditional breakfast which was delicious. Overall we were glad we picked this place for our stay at Kyoto and would highly recommend it!!'

'Staff is lovely, well equipped rooms with a kitchenette and a washing machine, like many Japanese hotels it’s tight quarters but has everything you need. About an 8 minute walk from Kyoto Station, 20 mins from Nishiki Market. A/C was great in the room. '

Daarnaast fijne kamers, lekker ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel. Het hotel ligt wel wat van Gion/ de hotspots af. De ligging vlak bij het station is echter heel handig en maakt dat je snel met de bus en trein uit de voeten kan. Zou dit hotel zo weer boeken. '
