★☆☆☆☆ – Extremely Disappointing Stay I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Liberty Fabay was far below what we expected from a luxury resort. To begin with, The air conditioning in our room did not work properly, making it uncomfortable to stay in the room, especially during the summer heat. We also both became ill with symptoms consistent after eating sushi at the hotel. While I cannot say with certainty that the sushi was the cause, it was the common meal we shared before becoming sick. Guest behavior throughout the resort was another major issue. One of the most disappointing aspects of our stay was the feeling that the hotel prioritized the concerns of international tourists over those of local Turkish guests. On several occasions, we felt that our concerns were not taken as seriously and that staff were reluctant to support us or enforce the hotel’s own rules consistently. Whether intentional or not, this left us feeling overlooked and treated unfairly. While the hotel itself is visually impressive, the level of service, management, and guest support does not justify the premium price. For what we paid, we expected a luxury experience with professional staff and proper customer care, but unfortunately, that was not what we received. There are many other resorts in the area that offer better value and a more enjoyable experience. In my opinion, this hotel is simply not worth the price.
