Ruidoso

'This is a great cabin in a beautiful location with easy access to town, hiking trails on the mountain, and other nearby activities. The cabin was clean and mostly well-appointed, but there are a number of minor things that could be improved. No smart TV and not having something for a nightstand on BOTH sides of the bed were our biggest complaints. Yes, the point is not to be watching TV in a beautiful setting such as this, but it's nice to be able to watch a movie or something that you want...

5. Creek-Side Love Nest | King Bed + Fireplace

Ruidoso

'We enjoyed the cabin very much, A couple of minor things came up but did not distract from the stay. However, the grounds are an issue. We understand that the area experienced a flood about a year ago which was devastating to the entire town. But one would expect the area of rentable cabins to be presentable. Overgrown grass and weeds dominated. Also, the pond in the middle of the cabins does not look anything as the advertisement. In fact, it was dry and the pump house is collapsed. The...

'DISGUSTING BAIT-AND-SWITCH Do not let the staged photos fool you—this cabin is a neglected, unhygienic health trap. We arrived during the busy XTERRA festival weekend to find a property abandoned by basic housekeeping. The master bed box spring was completely broken and collapsed onto the carpet, exposing bare metal springs that made sleep impossible. The guest towels were covered in foul yellow/brown stains, curtains were ripped, and the kitchen was caked in structural grease and grime. Worse...

'The cabin was perfect for us four older adults and our two little dogs. We really wish we would have stayed longer. It even had AC which we didn't expect. The beds were very comfortable. I was in love with the beautiful, huge chandelier in the living room. There were no neighbors on one side, which was nice. The neighborhood was very quiet. We loved walking our dogs in the morning and evening and meeting a neighbor's sweet, friendly dog. The cabin was kept in very good condition with updated...

'This is a cute little property! Clean, comfortable and affordable. If you're looking for a fun getaway for two, this is perfect. It's close to town - we rode our bikes to dinner a couple of nights. The neighborhood is quiet, and there is plenty of wildlife to see while taking walks. One evening we saw over 30 elk just a block away from the cabin. The host is easy to work with and communicates well.Overall, we had a wonderful week and would do it again.'
