« I was pleasantly surprised overall about my stay at the kiwi hotel. I had room #1 which was conveniently next to the shower. The room was neat, clean, and the bed comfortable. Minimal noise out the window at night. Staff was so welcoming and accommodating, making me a cup of coffee and ushering me into the living room to rest. Price is incredible and a short walk from the intercity bus stop. Close to Polynesian Spa and the main downtown area. Next to a delicious Korean fried chicken...

« We were booked in for the guesthouse but when we got here really wanted to stay multiple nights and were given the option to move into a wing of the homestead at the same rate which was a generous option -- Frances and Julian are wonderful. »

« Lovely location backing onto the reserve. Very peaceful and quiet. Only negative for us was that we were unable to leave the door open for our dog to enjoy snuffling around outside as there is no fencing at all. »
