'The house and farm are just beautiful. We spent nearly the entire stay on the screened porch listening to the birds, watching the horses, goats, and chickens and enjoying the quiet serenity of the country. Our hosts could not have been more gracious and welcoming. We wondered around the property and soaked up the country, ate some amazing farm raised eggs, and made several excursions to nearby Monticello, antique shops, UVA, and 1799 at the Clifton for dinner. 'We had an amazing vacation here at Sutton’s Roost. Home was terrific for us and our kids. Tons of room, well stocked kitchen, hot tub and sauna to calm our aching muscles after hiking all over the place. Upper back porch to relax and eat and watch the stars. 'Scott is probably one of the most proactive and generous hosts I've ever encountered on any STR platform. From the get-go he offered us late check out and other lovely suggestions and accommodations. The home is beautifully located and oh so peaceful and quaint. 'A great place, very clean and so well equipped, especially the kitchen. The beds are comfortable and have duvets with covers. Cozy! It was great to have a bathroom for each bedroom plus a half bath on the first floor. The house is in a good location, an easy walk to ‘downtown’ with good restaurants and interesting stores. Staunton is a nice town and good location to explore the Shenandoah Park. '
