'quiet rooms parking is a little wonky'

'The hotel is in need of desperate renovation and repairs, elevators weren’t working properly, everything from doors, cabinets and carpets were worn scratched and outdated. Balcony rails were rusted and looked like black mold around the air conditioner and on the floor around it on the balcony. House keeping staff reeked of weed when they were next to us on elevator. 'The staff that we encountered were nice and helpful! The property is a great location and the room was updated and nice. We love the area at the beach for sitting and reading and relaxing. My complaint would be this horrible musty smell in the hallways, also would have been nice to have been provided beach towels. Overall I would stay here again for sure. Perk they have a breakfast for free. Of course it’s simply but much appreciated.'

'This was our first time in Nags Head! Surf Side hotel did not disappoint. From the moment we checked in we had a great experience. We were celebrating my mom's 70th birthday and her small welcome gift in the room was such a beautiful surprise!! The hotel was very clean and all the staff were very helpful and accommodating to our needs!! The elevator is slow and breakfast is okay but those were the only 2 things that could be improved in our eyes! Thanks for giving us a great stay. We look...
