« We were greeted at the front desk by a very friendly lady that was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The room was spacious and very clean. It had a kitchenette which came in handy. A full size refrigerator, dishwasher, sink and microwave. The coffee maker was fully stocked. We felt very safe and secure there. The breakfast had a wide choice of items from pancakes and sausage to cereals and fresh fruit. Would definitely recommend this hotel as everything was great! »

« This is a really nice independent hotel with a lot of charm. The location is great and the views are wonderful. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. We have stayed twice and will try and stay here every time we visit. If they had a food option on site, this would be amazing, but the town is a short golf cart ride away. Highly recommend for any stay in Southport. »

« Beautiful room, looks brand new and was nicely appointed with very nice furniture. The fridge was retro and cute, bed was very comfortable. Some dustier floors than I would have liked but sometimes this is to be expected in beachy environments. This was nothing major, overall the room was lovely and comfortable and I would recommend this as a great place to stay. »

« The motel was clean, staff friendly and parking was free and plentiful. Our view was from the side of the hotel but it was fine. Conveniently located and quiet. We had never been to Oak Island and I’m glad we decided to go! Our room was newly renovated and while there was not a lot of extra amenities, it was more than enough for our basic needs. « The room was clean with a wonderful ocean view. My family and I enjoyed the fire pit, pool, live music, and direct access to the beach. »

« Place is cute/well done, but bring an eye mask otherwise you won’t sleep. They leave every wattage of exteriors lights on all night, and the window shutters in the rooms (as nice and charming as they are) don’t black out the light, so our room was lit up like a UFO was beaming us up all night. Also, they say “ocean view” rooms. Take that with a grain of salt. It’s partial at best, and only if you stand right at the window and crane your neck. »
