Lovely apartment in a perfect location, right in the heart of downtown Reykjavik. We could walk to a lot of the attractions. One thing to note though, the apartment was on the 4th floor, so carrying all our luggage up the stairs was a bit difficult.

The owner emailed us the codes before we arrived which was nice. We were lucky as we had Apartment 1 which we only had a few steps down. Apartment is on a busy street so the crowds can be noisy. Good location. Thought it was over priced though. But then again most things seem to be expensive in Iceland! Also we took the flybus from airport. You can get your fly bus ticket at the airport. The walk from the stop to airport was less than 5 minutes

Nice experience, clean rooms, parking is a bit of a pain with only a couple spots out front that are often filled. Lighting throughout is a bit dark.

Good location. Nice amenities. Parking was on street and not ample. No blackout curtains, which is a big deal if not expected. Difficult to understand which access code to use where.

Very great location, close to everything and plenty of room. The owner replied to our needs whenever we reached out. The apartment was quiet for the first half of our trip but when the people arrived above us, they were very loud. For the most part, very great place.

Nice place to stay

Decent place close to the water and city center walking area. Had everything we needed for a 3 night stay and property was comfortable. Door to the building could be tricky at first but finally got the hang of it.

It is not clear enough. There are biscuit crumbs on the chairs and there are even some dirt on the bed sheet… the sofa bed on the other room is uncomfortable. And the most unpleasant thing is the noise. There is another party (?) on higher floor which makes a lot of sound day and night which makes us hard to sleep. However, the location is good. Near to bus stop 9, which is quite convenient to join tours and walkable to the main street.

This is a great apartment in a safe, mostly quiet neighborhood. Just be advised that it is a four floor climb up small, steep stairs to get there.

Book this place asap

First time in Iceland, and this place was the most affordable and surprisingly spacious. We stayed on the 4th floor, which had big windows and a great view. The area was quiet and safe, with a 24/7 Express market and a few coffee shops nearby. It was only a 20-minute walk from the airport bus terminal and very close to the main street (restaurants, retail shops etc). The only issue we encountered was that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working properly. Everything else was excellent, and I would definitely rent here again.

It was a great place to stay. But I forgot my jacket in closet, wrote them an email sunday evening when I got home, that I would pay for them to send it to me... But No answer at all... I´, very dissapointed.

The Bed was really comfy and the flat was cosy and warm. It was very small and looked bigger in the pictures and one of the beds was a pull out sofa bed which was very hard. Not fair to expect people to sleep on it. The upstairs neighbours were horrendously loud every night. Impossible to get a good sleep whilst there. Overall it was alright.

We had a disappointing experience with this apartment due to several issues related to access, cleanliness, and maintenance. The apartment is located on the 4th floor of a building with no elevator, and the staircase is extremely narrow and steep. Carrying luggage up was very difficult and inconvenient, especially without prior warning about these conditions. Cleanliness was below expectations, particularly in the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen appeared used and not properly cleaned: there was water and used coffee pods left in the Nespresso machine, the sink and countertop were wet, and the dishwasher still contained dishes, some of which were wet. This gave the impression that the space had not been properly prepared for new guests. The bathroom also had multiple issues. Basic amenities like shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion were not provided. The shower gel dispenser was empty and had not been refilled. The sink stopper was missing, leaving the drain exposed and looking unhygienic. The shower head had visible mineral buildup, and the drain appeared clogged, causing water to accumulate during use. Lighting throughout the apartment was very poor. Several overhead lights were not functioning, and in the bedroom, only one bedside lamp was working, making the space feel dim and poorly maintained. Overall, the apartment did not meet expectations in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, or comfort.

Excellent location in the heart of Reykjavik! This place is within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and just a stone's throw away from downtown. However, our stay was marred by a lack of communication from the host, which made it difficult to get answers to our questions and resolve issues. Additionally, the narrow staircases leading up to the 2nd or 3rd floor apartment may pose a challenge for those with large bags - it was a bit of a hassle for us! Also free parking is only available by the church. Street parking is difficult to get . Overall, with a bit more attention to communication and perhaps some assistance with luggage, this place would be a fantastic choice for anyone looking to explore Reykjavik. As it stands, I'd give it 4/5 stars.
