Een luxe gelijkvloerse villa met een privézwembad, gelegen in een prachtig aangelegde volgroeide tuin met hoge muren, zeer privé en rustig en begrensd door olijfgaarden. Heeft een prachtig uitzicht op de zee en de bergen. Het is beschikbaar voor vakantieverhuur vanaf 1/1/2016, zal langere verhuur in het bijzonder overwegen buiten het hoogseizoen. Villa Francesca is zeer goed uitgerust. Het heeft een eigen omheinde parkeerplaats en een volledig uitgerust, betegeld zwembad. Kies een luie dag bij het zwembad met een prachtig uitzicht op het prachtige omliggende landschap of ervaar een aantal van de verbazingwekkende geschiedenis van Kreta. Ga liggen op een van de langste zandstranden in de Middellandse Zee en zwem in het kristalheldere water. Ga winkelen in de oude stad Rethymnon met zijn historische haven en fortezza. Eet in een van de vele restaurants (de visgerechten zijn vers bereid en verrukkelijk!). Hoe lang u ook blijft, u zult altijd zoveel te doen vinden. De villa heeft twee grote slaapkamers met airco. Beide slaapkamers hebben ook kaptafels, spiegels, nachtkastjes en volledig ingerichte kasten. De badkamer heeft een apart bad en douche. De keuken is volledig uitgerust met moderne apparatuur, waaronder een koelkast met vriesvak, vaatwasser, wasmachine en magnetron. De lounge heeft een drie- en tweezitsbank, tv, muziek-dvd / hifi-installatie. Buiten Villa Francesca staat een grote terrastafel en zes stoelen op het terras plus nog een tafel en 2 stoelen in de tuin. Vijf ligbedden en grote parasol rond het grote betegelde privézwembad. Volgroeide tuinen met privéparkeergelegenheid. Er is ook een dakterras. Prachtig uitzicht op zowel de bergen als de zee vanuit alle delen van de villa en de tuinen. Veel geweldige plaatsen om te bezoeken: de Samaria-kloof, de langste van Europa, Agia Galina, Panormo, Episkopi, Arkadi, Chania en de waterparken. De lijst is eindeloos.

Superbe emplacement

Belle villa avec une vue incroyable, un bon emplacement et de l'isolement. Il manque une climatisation complète de la maison, des toilettes séparées de la salle de bain et qu'il y ai de l'eau tout le long du séjour.

Villa Francesca

Directions to the villa were ok, but it would help if it was signposted like other villas, that would be a great help Upon arrival, the bin was very dirty, we bleached it 3 times. My wife advised me not to view the toilet brush as it was disgusting. There were cobwebs around the TV which hadn't been cleaned for quite some time, also cobwebs in the cupboards. The garden was overgrown. I could not hang shirts in the wardrobe as there was a pile of damp bedding on top of the spare quilts that were in the wardrobe and I was not hanging shirts in there. The tray for the oven was filthy, rusty and looked as if it had seen better days......I will say the villa would be ideal if the cleaning / gardening team were not so comfortable with the arrangements with the owner and applied their trade in the right way

Très chouette séjour, villa agréable et confortable, vue impressionnante de la terrasse. Piscine propre et rafraîchissante. Bon emplacement pour visiter le centre de la Crête, très près de Rethymnon. On y retournerait avec plaisir.

Calme, emplacement idéal

Séjour au calme avec vue fantastique , maison isolée mais proche de toutes les commodités et voies rapides à 5 km . Jardin agréable, intime, piscine bien orientée, terrasse couverte avec vue sur la vallée....location idéale, propre, bien agencée, pour qui aime le calme mais désire également découvrir la Crete de l'arriere pays . Ne pas hésiter à emprunter les petites routes de montagne, il ya tant de choses à voir . Cote sud accessible facilement également . Proprétaires facilement joignables par mail, aimables et de bons conseils ! Séjour parfait, mais trop court ... à refaire .

Lovely private pool. Great views. Very good communication with villa manager. No frills accommodation. Suited our family. Good location, far away to be tranquil but not too far from supermarkets etc.

Villa with a breathtaking view

Villa Francesca is not the easiest to find but the journey in rural Crete and up in very steep zig zag drive is well worth the effort! The villa benefits from full sunshine from early morning until sunset, outdoor dining is possible in multiple locations around the villa. The pool is of a good size and benefits from sunshine most of the day, the nearest shops and tavernas are a short drive of around two to three kilometres. Lidl and many more tavernas are located around four to five kilometres away, in summary this is a well located and appointed villa, perfect for a relaxing break in Crete.

Fantastic, remote Cretan Villa

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Francesca. Very pretty and private but still just 5 min drive to the local supermarket. The gardens and pool were lovely and the villa had everything we needed. The view from the roof over the hills to the sea was beautiful. Air con in the bedrooms was very effective which was great in order to get a good night's sleep as it's so hot in July and August! We enjoyed many nights on the veranda listening to the cicadas. Perfect for a couple who want to get away from it all, and don't mind driving to local amenities and up some very steep hills! We found some great restaurants nearby away from the hustle of tourist areas which were wonderfully traditional. Lisa was really responsive and checking in was easy and fuss free. It was like having our own little private home in Crete. Perfect place.

La piscine est très appréciable et agréable. L'environnement est calme ce qui permet de se reposer. De nombreux sites touristiques alentour et de jolies plages à 30 minutes en voiture. Pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner il manque toutefois des ustensiles de cuisine, des plats.... Mais la cuisine est très fonctionnelle. Petit soucis avec le Wi-Fi mais qui devrait être réparé. Les propriétaires sont agréables et font u efforts pour parler le français.

Gorgeous, peaceful villa with great views and secluded pool

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Villa Francesca and already can’t wait to return.The villa is clean and spacious with welcome air-conditioning in the bedrooms and a lovely balcony with great views from the main bedroom. You can go up to the roof for even better views towards the sea and the mountains inland, while the covered terrace is a lovely, shady place to eat. The best part is the swimming pool area, which is totally private and feels quite luxurious – gorgeous. In July, we could barely hear any noise from other villas at all, as this one has quite a bit of its own space around it. The short track/road up to the villa is steep and twisty and we were a bit concerned about driving in our underpowered Fiat Panda, but we soon get the hang of it. We found it a great base to explore this part of the island, with plenty to do and a wide choice of restaurants within a short drive. Rethymno is great but we also enjoyed exploring some of the mountain villages and tavernas as the landscape is specatacular. We would highly recommend it.
