'Parking was very easy. The car park beside the Hotel was full on our arrival but there is a garage behind the Hotel which had spaces. All the staff are amazingly helpful, efficient, good humoured and alway go that extra mile. Great selection at breakfast whatever your options. '

'Lovely couple that host the B &B were so nice and took great care of us. The room was spacious and full of light with many windows and yet private. Breakfast was fantastic and filling. The countryside around the home was breathtaking and remote, yet close to pubs and larger cities. '

'Toen we aankwamen was er niemand (21:30 uur) en toen we in de ochtend weggingen hebben we ook niemand gezien. Alles heel onpersoonlijk. Het ontbijt wordt pas vanaf 9:00 uur geserveerd. Dat was voor ons veel te laat. Weer een B&B met alleen een Bed en geen Breakfast.'

'We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. '

'Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. '
