'Newer hotel, definitely not a 5 star hotel in room, service and breakfast quality. Bathroom smaller than one in Holiday Inn Express. Although rooms were paid in advance at arrival a relative high amount of bail was asked for and the small amount of tourist tax had to be paid directly and could not be put on the bill at check out.
The architect who designed the room should be sent back to school, what a bunch of unpractical errors.

'Maybe the best shower I've used anywhere. Breakfast was very reasonable, one hot egg dish plus breads, salad, fruit and yogurt and drinks buffet. Western food in the restaurant, fun music and atmosphere throughout. Beds were comfy, best hotel of our trip.'

'While the room was pretty basic, the staff was wonderful and the location lovely. The parks surrounding the hotel are magnificent. Being able to either walk 5 minutes to the airport or take the complimentary shuttle is so convenient!'

'Great hotel at walking distance from the station. Spacious rooms for Japan, good breakfast options. Free snacks and drinks in the afternoon. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely go there again when in Kyoto'
