« Air Conditioning was nice. House keeping came daily. Rooms were spacious but bathrooms are tiny, limited towels, staff was not helpful, beds were very hard, rooms flooded from rain storm was told to put luggage on bed. Never tried to do anything about it. Front desk was VERY slow. Rooms were not ready at 4. They had muffins and water daily. NOT worth the price. »

« L’hotel est situé en montagne avec une vue superbe sur la ville. Nécessite une voiture ou un taxi pour les déplacement. Le restaurant était fermé en raison d’une tempête tropical le mois dernier mais le resto Sib’s pas très loin était parfait et peu dispendieux et prisé des locaux. Belle piscine ensoleillée. »

My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! »

« The location is perfect for those who want to visit St. John while on vacation in St Thomas. The pools were great to swim in after long days at the beautiful beaches. Sapphire beach is very close by! We enjoyed the music while we chilled at the beach. Coki is also a short walk away. The water was like a swimming pool!! We visited St John on 3 occasions and the ferry ride from Red Hook was very convienient. The rooms were very nice and the bed was very comfortable.We will definitely be back! »

« la literie est très déficiente avec un matelas coton tellement mou et tombant au sol qu'on ne peut pas dormir convenablement. La cuisine mal éclairée (manque néon sous meubles hauts) manque d'éléments élémentaires pour cuisiner : casserole assez grande, ustensiles de cuisine, verres (au moins 4), poêle anti-adhérente, manque de produits d'entretien pour nettoyer la cuisine ...Douche inexistante avec jet minimum sur mur opposé, une pomme de douche reliée à une prise électrique pour chauffer...

« What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views. The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful! We are planning to return in 2027! »

« Everything was perfect at the St. John Inn! Karen was lovely and a friendly host. The room and property was clean and welcoming, and we really appreciated the amenities they offered. The free breakfast and pool was a huge bonus! Also we loved seeing Bob and the other cats on the property. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit St. John. »
