"Pelangi Resort consists of a beautiful main building and several buildings with one or more hotel rooms in them. Ours had 8. We stayed at the first (top) floor with a view of the lake and standing on the balcony, which was spacious, we could see the sea and beach between the other buildings. Staff were very friendly and forthcoming. The place is clean. There are three restaurants. Due to our family's preferences we chose to eat the most at the grill - with Western food. The cooks aren't too schooled in this, so don't expect the highest quality. The Asian restaurant was far better but a bit too spicy for our untrained tastebuds. The pools are very nice and fun for kids. The private beach is beautiful. We absolutely loved staying here. "

"Wij waren zeer tevreden over aloft hotel. Het lijkt meer een 5 sterren hotel dan een 4 sterrenhotel. De familiekamer was ruim, schoon en had een geweldig kingsize bed. Ook de badkamer is enorm. Het personeel is vriendelijk, er zijn veel activiteiten (ook voor oudere kinderen) en alle Extra’s zoals de sportschool, kidsclub etc. Maakte er een uitstekend verblijf van. Het enige minpunt vonden wij het strand aan de overkant. Aloft heeft hier geen eigen ligbedjes en er zijn weinig andere voorzieningen. Je kunt wel wat te eten halen bij de beachclub van een ander hotel, maar dit is duur en beviel niet. Hier ligt nog een kans op verbetering. Verder een dikke aanrader!"

"We as a family had an amazing stay. Booked an extra night. Location at beach with amazing views, incredible rooms, fantastic swimming pools. Staff is incredible friendly and helpful. If you are at Langkawi this would be the place for me to book again. We had other hotels in Langkawi on this trip. This was by far the best. "
