'Wij verbleven 3 weken in het huis. Het is er ruim, overzichtelijk (wanneer je met kleine kinderen bent) en schoon. In de omgeving is niet heel veel te doen (maar met 35 graden wil je ook niets anders doen dan in het zwembad liggen): Je kan treintje rijden van Saint-Lieux-lès-Lavaur op een traject van 20 minuten naar Jardins des Martels (Botanische tuin), Heerlijk restaurant met panorama in Giroussens (Ned. sprekende ober) of de markt bezoeken op zaterdag in Lavaur. 'Propriétaires accueillants, aucun stress ni à l’arrivée ni au départ et nous avions tout ce qu’il fallait.Gîte situé dans le Sidobre où nous avons fait des randonnées avec toute la famille sur des sentiers ombragés jonchés de rochers impressionnants que nous avons pris plaisir à escalader.'

'The gite is in a very rural location. It was generally ok. We stayed 3 nights, the one bedroom has a very slanted roof and it’s easy to bang your head on the ceiling. The stairs are also quite steep and again you have to be careful. My main comment are around the lack of small things like no shower mat, nowhere to put soap/ shampoo in the shower, only 2 dishwasher tablets, no dishcloth, one sponge/ scourer pad, no cleaning sprays, one tea towel, one laundry capsule, a small amount of washing up...

'Lovely little apartment in the old town. Very central to the action. Clean, well-equipped, comfy beds. If you cannot manage stairs, this one might not be for you. Our rental car was too big for the parking space on site, but public parking a couple blocks away did the job. '

'Mooi huis in een parkachtige omgeving. Pigeonnier voor de deur. Enig minpunt was dat wij hier in Coronatijd logeerden en geen gebruik mochten maken van het zwembad van de eigenaar. Na Corona komen wij nog wel een keer terug.'

'Very briefly, the accommodation was faultless - traditional with splendid views of the most beautiful French farm land and hills. Our hosts could not have been more helpful. The Tarn area is not so much spectacular as gently beautiful and probably underestimated by tourists. Also a rich history and cultural heritage to discover and explore. I cannot recommend this property and its hosts too highly. Thank you!'
