While it’s close to other properties and there were plenty of kids outside and in the water out front, everyone was very respectful, and it never felt disruptive.The camp itself had everything we needed and felt modern and comfortable. One thing to note: small flies were a bit of a nuisance indoors—especially in the kitchen and bathroom. We recommend washing dishes...

'"We had an absolute blast at this lake house! The location was perfect for our family, with plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, and swimming. The house itself was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing vacation. The views of the lake from the deck were stunning, and we spent hours just sitting there, watching the sunset. The kids loved all the outdoor activities, and my wife and I enjoyed some much-needed R&R. We can't wait to come back and experience it...

'Our family traveled to the area for a last minute swim meet. Having not made plans to be traveling, we were unsure of what options we'd have - but the cabin was perfect for a last minute overnight stay. We all slept well, and were able to enjoy the cabin for the brief time we were there. Significantly more space, and much more affordable, than hotel options in the area the same night. A great find and fit for us! '

'We had a wonderful stay at the camp. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the loons on the lake. We also had fun kayaking around the lake where we saw a bald eagle on one of the islands. Suzanne was at the camp when we arrived and showed us around. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We would love to return here in the future.'

'The 4 of us stayed here together for a weekend reunion. Very comfortable and well equipped and clean. Lots of towels. Great porch and beach. Only wish we had WIFI.'

'This was such a fun experience. My husband and I had a road trip up the east coast. We aren't big campers and this was a great way to get a bit more of a rustic experience without a tent. But yes, you take a canoe to the island. It takes 5 minutes. No electricity, so be prepared for a camp stove and electric lanterns. Loons added a lovely evening sound track. Google map directions worked fine. Mexican restaurant was good. Took a day trip to Camden to hike and have lunch which was lovely. So fun...
