'I recently stayed at LEGOLAND Hotel California in a Pirate-themed room, and while my kids were initially very excited, the experience started off on a disappointing note. Check-in is advertised at 4:00 PM, but our room wasn’t ready until around 5:30 PM. 'A one day getaway is good enough for this place honestly nice lake resort with good restaurants nice pools. Staff some were good one of them was just lazy to do anything for us but overall the rest of the staff was very nice. A lot bugs from the lake tho. The coffee shop they had at the resort was never open although it said they’re open 24/7 I went couple times during the day and it wasn’t open'

'The room wasn’t 100% clean but I also wasn’t looking specifically for the dust on the glass ceiling lamp or in the corners of the bathroom. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The bedding and towels were clean. Pet friendly is underrated, they are pet lovers!! Every time we came down to potty they remembered my dog’s name. '
