'Very clean little old hotel with no frills. Hot water. Cold AC. Nice staff great location to Uber. Excellent budget place. Also. Ice cold chocolate milk in the reception area for cheap. Big ass Iguanas in the courtyard. '

'Convenient close to the airport. 12 minute drive with our rental car. From the city it is also only a 5 minute drive. I would not recommend to walk. Breakfast was freshly made and consists out of typical Costa Rican hot dish, toast, cereals and fresh fruit. We did not eat at the restaurant in the evening. The room was convenient and clean. The bed was good. Relaxing at the end of the day you can do at the well maintained pool area. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. '

'While Karao Hotel may offer budget nightly stays, it offers amazingly large rooms, close vicinity to the Liberia airport, public bus directory in front of Karao, and extraordinary professionally brewed coffee shop and breakfast meals. The (made on premises) breakfast items are inexpensive and high quality. Hope you will enjoy my recent photos of these delights, my companion and I stayed twice in December 2025. Perfect in every way.'

'My husband and I had the best time Glamping! The rooms were spotless and the splash pool was wonderful. The staff, especially Noemi, was absolutely the best!!! We had everything we needed and were within walking distance to a store and restaurants. We would love to go back again!'

'The garden suite was wonderful as was the entire property. So unique, peaceful and an excellent viewing of the stars from the lookout site. But what stood out though was the fantastic service from Paulo, Johnny and Luis and everyone else, who treated us as if we were the most important people in the world. 'Genoten van ons korte verblijf hier. Het is een mooie plek met een fijne, prachtig aangelegde tuin met genoeg plekken rond het zwembad om lekker in de hangmat te hangen. Het strand is twee minuten lopen, alleen is Tamarindo minder makkelijk bereikbaar (met een bootje of ‘s avonds met de taxi). De kamer was schoon, fris en sfeervol ingericht. Het bed was comfortabel. De medewerkers zijn super vriendelijk, spreken uitstekend Engels en doen hun uiterste best om je te helpen. De service is echt top...
