'Het hotel/B&B heeft sfeer en ziet er authentiek uit. De kamer was netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. De gastvrouw (Debbie) en haar medewerkers waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze hadden speciaal voor ons een goed bed geregeld. In één woord fantastisch! We komen graag terug.'

'Room was clean and the young person was so very helpful Breakfast was excellent and cooked perfect both mornings I commented to the young chef that cooked our breakfast on Wednesday morning. Even the waitress listen to instructions about tea and toast and followed them to the letter The only thing I’d probably say that was missing was the attached pub/bar only did lunchtime meals and not evening'

'Very nice hotel on a very convenient location. Just outside the buzz of Southend pier and city center but in walking distance. Great views over the Thames estuary. The rooms are very well appointed. Great design. But unfortunately not all design is practical. The bathroom is really too small. Room 204 very large, but a tiny bed and an unworkable bathroom. This doesnt add up to comfort. I hope they have rooms with a normal size bathroom. '

'We hebben een fijne tijd gehad. Jammer dat de kamer verouderd en niet schoon was. Eten was heerlijk! En het personeel was top! Zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vooral voor de manager Babs een hele dikke pluim!'
