'We had a great stay at House Rustico. It is about a 15-20 mins drive away to Plitvice national park, and it is located in a nice little town near a forest. The room is big, clean and is well equipped. Vila Velebita is at the other side of the small town, and is the place where you have to collect the keys to your rooms. Vila Velebita is also a great option for dinner and breakfast, it offers traditional cuisine and has a nice atmosphere with traditional Croatian music. When we stayed in house...

'Finding House Karakas was easy and after a friendly welcome we were shown our spotlessly clean room. The owners run a very tight ship (in the most positive sense of the word) and everything looks immaculate. Parking is easy and the Plitvicka National Park is about 20 minutes away by car (entrance 2). The only drawbacks were the limited hot water supply in the shower and the fact that the complex is somewhat noisy, i.e. it is fairly easy to hear (loud) voices coming from other rooms. '
