'This is a beautiful, spotlessly clean eco-lodge just outside Mindo. The tropical grounds are vast and exquisitely manicured, while the rooms are large and inviting after a day of fun activities. It’s quite private. We enjoyed a lazy afternoon of recovery from a busy trip, reading and napping on the great balcony. Every staff member’s goal is for guests to be happy—each person was so impressive. Highly recommend! Note: We would never have walked to town, due to distance and darkness. A taxi...

'Beautiful rooms in the woods with many opportunities for walking and seeing birds. But regarding service and breakfast not what you would expect of this type of hotel. Breakfast is basic. Staff are friendly and doing their job. Missed a more personal or famial approach. Staff member told us to be at the entrance of the hotel at 5.50 in the morning to watch birds with him, but did not show up.'

'Breakfast is great including, other meal options ; at night and early morning tour very well, tour guide has a lot of knowledge . Beautiful place. '

'My experience was that my reservation was not accepted. I had to pay cash, and was lucky that they still had a room. The place itself is wonderful, with friendly staff, excellent birding, great food.'
