'We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended.'

'Great place to stay in La Fortuna! Close to restaurants and shops. Easy to get to and park on property. We could see a sloth from the back yard. Had a small problem due to very heavy rain but the management group were great and helped us out right away.'

The separate bedrooms were great for our family situation. The road the house is on is gravel but it is close to town. We did not use the washer/ dryer or 1/2 bath. 'Amazing. The cabana is beautiful! It’s brand new and very comfortable. It has three walk out decks, and a one whole side of the cabana is huge windows that open to make the space open air. 'The Ranch Villa Arenal is a gorgeous house and property. We felt at home and fell in love with Yadi the house keeper/cook and Joaquin the grounds keeper. Yadi cooked a delicious breakfast every day and Joaquin entertained us with tours of the working ranch. The Fortuna area offers many activities for all age groups. Our family had a fantastic time and highly recommend this property. Pura Vida.'

'We had a group of 10 people traveling to La Fortuna in late April. This property is the absolute best of both worlds. The house has one master suite with a spacious bath on the top floor with views of the Arenal volcano on a clear day. The second floor has three bedrooms with a shared bath. The main floor is spacious and opens up to an outside porch which is perfect for sitting and enjoying the monkeys, toucans and butterflies. 'We certainly enjoyed our stay! We had quite a bit of mis-communication with the host as well as no hot water for the first day we were there (propane tank had run out). The tiny ants all over the kitchen are probably par for the course in such a climate - I would have like a can of bug spray available. Nevertheless, the property worked out very well for us and our 6 adult "kids".'

'Our room overlooked the river. We had fireflys at night, chamelions in the day and real peace and quiet. There is everythng you could need pools fed by the river, trails through the grounds, kitchens barbeques all in good condition. Easy to get to on a good road and close enough to town. '
