The property itself is beautiful. We have been there one other time where my husband got mildly ill. This year, there seems to be a salmonella outbreak that is affecting a large amount of people who had stayed during May. I have been incredibly ill since the third day we arrived has since came home and and am being treated for salmonella poisoning.

During our checked in, it took us 1.5 hours . There was only one staff assisting the customers. That was around 2;30pm. My group said where’s the rest of the staff? Almost 3pm, few staffs came out and looked like they just finished their siesta! Spa prices- before I arrived at the hotel , the staff sent me spa prices. My friend and I booked our appointment at the beach desk lounge and showed as the same prices what the hotel sent me. When we went to the spa and requested changes from our appointment, we found that they have different prices- higher ! We explained that their prices were not the same from the hotel website and desk lounge. We suggested that they should honored the prices that it’s on the website. The customer service didn’t agree with us and even the manager said that their prices changed 2 yrs ago which still unbelievable bec the hotel and beach desk lounge have different prices! Anyway to our disappointment, we canceled our appointment. The manager should honored what the hotel prices sent me. Obviously, there is a communication gap between the Spa and hotel manager . Less staff speaking in English- it is difficult to communicate if the hotel staff is not fluently or could not speak English. It is challenging! The hotel manager should offered English classes to the staff even for basic words. Hotel rooms- nice and clean ! They always changed my towels daily which I like it. cocktail drinks- more on coloring less alcohol

Worse experience ever, my husband and brother in law get intoxicated with seafood which was not storage at the right temperature, I went to customer service asking for help for him and was told that I have to pay $340.00 for the nurse to go to see him???? This hotel, my brother in law had to pay $1600.00 at a local hospital to get medical attention for food poisoning caused by the hotel food. Room air conditioner was no working and you couldn’t lower temperature using the control, my sister did not have hot water, they have a ridiculous discriminatory policy, if you do not pay $390.00 dollars at check in to get “level” you cannot use many of the restaurants, basically you have just one restaurant to eat, staff is very rude and not cooperative, at the airport a lot of people coming from the same hotel were complaining for the same thing, horrible experience

From beginning it was easy checking, stuff very nice and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious and so many varieties. We mostly eat sea food, vegetables and fruits. They serve most tastiest ice-cream i ever eat. Room was clean every day, fresh towels always in the room. Every night is shows or dancing. It was so mush fun. Highly recommended spa and couple massage.

The property was very clean and well kept. We upgraded to the Level for a better room and access to a special restaurant. The first night we ate at the restaurant and the food was odd and not tasteful. None of the restaurants had quality food which was very disappointing. I would say the food quality was substandard and the upgrade afforded us nothing.

I choose the wrong resort , wellness means no music no happiness at the pool bar everything looks like sad My name is Eduardo Sotomayoy I was on the room 1717 then I couldn’t sleep for 2 nights because the bed makes a lot of noise when I barely move, also was dogs and cats fighting in the beach , am not sure says WELLNESS??, anyway really don’t mind fighting cats and dogs actually I was looking for some noise, but no exagere of music but nothing , then managers agreed of the discomfort of the bed and they swapped to 0415 was the same room but no noise was okay , also is not all inclusive because some of the restaurants have to paid for some dishes and drinks like Don Julio o patron tequilas, I WONT RECOMMEND AT ALL

This is a beautiful resort and has tons of food, drink, nightlife and entertainment options. But, we were here 5 years prior and had a way better experience. This time, as a LEVEL guest (VIP) we only had one VIP restaurant and one VIP bar. Normally this is fine. Only VIP's can eat or drink in these places. But, these were also the only places we could get "top shelf" liquor as part of our Level package. The rest of the bars wanted us to pay for better alcohol. Our VIP wristbands got us no additional privileges outside of the VIP lounge. Additionally, we stayed on the Adults-Only side, which caused at least two issues. First, the nightlife stopped at around 10 or 10:30 on the Adults-Only side. For some reason, the "family resort" (a quick walk through beautiful landscape and architecture) had dance parties and music until midnight or later. Kind of backwards if you ask me. Secondly, our VIP wristbands did absolutely nothing on the family side. Not only would we have to pay for "top-shelf" liquor, but we couldn't even eat at the restaurants over there without paying. 5 years ago, that was not the case - we had the run of the place, eat wherever we wanted, drink whatever we wanted. This issue is significant because there was ONE buffet option for breakfast on the adults-only side. It was good, but we had to eat at the same place everyday of our vacation. The only other option was the VIP restaurant where you ordered off a menu and that was it. We will not go back a 3rd time.

We stayed in the wellness section and the shower was dirty, they did not change the pillow cases even when we ask for, not enough towels, no white meat in the buffet like other all inclusive hotels, key cards have issues to open.

Beautiful resort, beach, and great food. If you want a chair on the beach or by the pool be prepared to get up early (7am) to get it. Otherwise you are out of luck, not saying they will be taken by people but by towels. Towels that sit on chairs all day and rarely have their owners in them. Drinks are poor if they even get them correct, how do you screw up strawberry daiquiri and bring a margarita on 3 different occasions. Staff’s English is very poor. Been to much better places so we wouldn’t recommend.

Enjoyed our 7 day stay as a group of 6. Hotel staff was excellent, small language barrier at times, but all good. A little more variety with the dinner menu but the food was good. Only complaint was getting the correct towels for our room. Talked with maids and called the desk 3 times for hand towels and wash cloths and only had them 2 days of our 7. Minor issue. Overall stay was great.
