'The check in was quick and thorough, Donna was very down to earth and pleasant . She runs a beautiful Old Victorian house that is so clean and comfortable. It’s extremely welcoming from the first step you take inside the foyer. Breakfast was delicious and the conversation around the table with the other guests and Donna was great! It’s really a small world when you get chatting. We haven’t been BnB guests in the past, but this trip to the east coast has changed our way of thinking. '

'Extremely friendly staff who really took the time to show all the areas of the house and where complementary food and drinks can be found, day and night (coffee/tea) or sodas for a small fee. Great hospitality. Room was good. Clean and with all the necessities. Breakfast was great and plenty of choices. Would recommend this location. '

'Had a very unique and wonderful stay here. If you're looking for granite and sterility, this is not the place. We quite enjoy old buildings with some history and character, and this was no disappointment. Service/coordination was generally excellent. Location is superb. Will stay again without hesitation the next time we go for an oyster/lobster extravaganza. Thank you to the staff, and the organization.'

'Mooi huis met parkeerplaats en op loopafstand van alles in het centrum van Charlottetown. Helaas zaten we naast een kamer waarvan onze buren de hele dag (en nacht) de ventilatie van de badkamer aan hadden staan en dat was extreem goed te horen in onze kamer waardoor we slechter hebben geslapen. In andere kamers heb je hier misschien minder last van. '

'Goede service, we mochten auto 's ochtends al parkeren. Kamer was prima en ook het ontbijt was lekker en uitgebreid.'

'Lovely old inn. Room was quiet. Easy walking to downtown, restaurants. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The only negative was the wine. Limited beverage menu. '

'The ice machine worked. The front staff was lovely. Her name was Katelyn (not sure on the spelling), she checked us in and my friends and I went to an event, she told us how lovely we looked. She was great. The restaurant was good, I liked that it wasn't self serve and they had enough options. Pleased with our stay. '

'The Elmwood is an enchanting place to rest our vacation weary bodies. The Violet, the owner, was very accomodating to our ask for an extention to our stay. Both of the rooms we stayed in were very beautiful and full of memories of a past life with past occupants of the Inn. This is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone visiting the Charlottetown area'
