We were very disappointed with this rental. The biggest issue was that the unit had a overpowering, musty, mildew smell. Due to this, we had to find another place to stay. This put an excessive amount of stress on us as we were visiting during a busy time period and it was in the late afternoon. Very little was available and we ended up having to put out more money to stay. Other things to consider if you choose to rent this unit are that the pictures do not reflect the interior as it is. The interior is worn and and there are stains on the couch. It is not very clean. Also, we were told that the elevator was not going to be able to be used however, we were not told that they were doing construction on the elevator on all three floors of of the building. This unit backs up right next to the elevator. In addition, there was quite a bit of construction and work going on in the whole complex. The manager at first was responsive when we told him/her what was going on. He/she offered another unit and then said they did not have one. ?? He/She told us to cancel the reservation. I asked for a refund and the manager agreed. I discovered that we were unable to do it on our end because VRBO only leaves the cancellation button open on the first day and It was now the morning of the second day. The manager was not helpful and said there was nothing he/she could do. In the end I was able to contact VRBO support and they were helpful.
