Valhead Villa - Newly constructed vacation rental villa on Sea Sage Road in Long Bay. A short drive to Long Bay Beach, less than a 5 minute drive to Grace Bay Beach, hotels and resorts.

Valhead Villa is the fulfillment of a dream for its owners.

The house is new, completed in 2012.

This 3 bedroom villa is set overlooking Juba Sound in Providenciales, has style and elegance bringing tranquility to this beautiful home.

This stylish home was the creation of the owners and the architect. They chose a property in Long Bay Hills because of the 'beautiful views, refreshing breeze and space'.

The innovative and clever design has produced a spacious house with many unique features - the marble topped built-in dining table takes the breath away of all who see it.

The bedrooms are located at one end of Valhead Villa, all have stunning en-suite features.

The sitting room has a vaulted, cathedral ceiling and is light and spacious.

A fully equipped modern kitchen that is easy to use opens to the outdoor dining area poolside. The infinity pool is much loved, especially the seat in one corner - a clever aspect of the design.

To enjoy a book, or quiet time inside, there is a reading space cleverly constructed off the main stairway. "I look up from a book and see the most wonderful views. It is very special", say the owners.

The study is located on the main floor, which can also be used as a children's snug. With WiFi access throughout the villa you can always keep in touch.

What The Owners have to say: "We love the house, design, property and location, but cannot use it as much as we would like. Offering the villa for short term vacation rental allows others to experience this new property and all it has to offer."

Check-in was very easy, and the location was perfect—just a short 5–10 minute drive to Grace Bay Beach, Long Bay, and grocery stores. The house was much larger than expected, with a great open-concept kitchen and living area. Even without AC in the common spaces, the breeze from open windows kept it comfortable. Essentials like soaps and detergents were thoughtfully stocked, and the included cleaning service every other day was a nice bonus. That said, there were definite downsides. The kitchen was dated and not very clean—greasy cabinet surfaces, a grimy sink, thick dust on top of the fridge, and chipped or stained dishes made us avoid cooking entirely. The laundry machines were rusted and stained some of our white clothes, so we didn’t use them after that. The small pool had chipped concrete on the bottom, which made it uncomfortable and potentially unsafe. The biggest issue was the lack of sleep: no blinds in the bedrooms meant they were fully lit by 6 a.m., the beds were hard and squeaky, and the pillows were flat. This home has a lot of potential, but with better cleanliness and major upgrades to sleeping arrangements, it could be a fantastic stay. As it is now, unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Had a wonderful 4 night stay at Valhead Villa. Check in and out was a breeze. They were very accommodating to our changing schedule. They provided great recommendations for a private chef, boat and well as other useful info. We were sad to leave, and would happily return to this wonderful property.

NICE... BUT LONG BAY VILLA

The place was nice and the description and photos were almost accurate. This was our family's first time to Turks and Caicos and I planned the trip myself. This villa appealed to me due to the number of rooms accommodating 6 adults and the price. It was nice but the living room space should also have wall units for cooling off the room during the day. It can get very humid and since there were no coverings for the large patio doors to the pool, the sun rays caused the living room to be hot and not very comfortable. The outdoor dining room space was nice but we couldn't use it regularly due to the screens that cover the dining room space not working that would allow you to sit outside without the bugs. The housekeeper stated they were inoperable. The bedrooms were nice but I think there should be window coverings that allow you to sleep in. The sun is nice to wake up to but having the ability to pull down a shade should be an option...covering in all three bedrooms and the office on the main level windows should have a shade or some type of shutter to close. There should be labels on the wall switches in the main living room, kitchen, and outside patio instructing you what turns on which light (I counted over 8 switches). The lower bedroom was nice but my daughter and friend experienced some type of insect bites on their legs and arms. We did spray the room because we saw bugs in the shower area ceiling. On check out date it was heavy rains and several rooms had water leaks.

Fantastic stay in Long Bay Hills

Highly recommend this property. The listing was a true representation of the property which was impeccably clean and well appointed. The swimming pool if anything was larger than it appeared in the photos and we were provided with light house cleaning every other day which was a wonderful surprise. The location was very easy to get to and a short car ride to the best beaches and restaurants on the island. The only thing to note was that we were there during quite heavy rain and there were some small leaks from the roof (likely typical of a tropical property). That being said the owners were very responsive and the cleaning staff came almost immediately to tidy up. We would rent this property again in a heart beat.

The house and the views were so beautiful but the hospitality could be improved. The house was hard to find on arrival as I was not provided with the exact address. There was also a problem with water leaking from the ceiling that they said they could not address until after we left, which was very inconvenient

Great Property

We had our first trip to TCI over the holiday and stayed at this property. Everything was nice and just like the pictures. The kitchen had all we needed to cook meals, the grill worked well and the pool was awesome. You can even see Prince's (the musician) old house in the distance from the patio. The location was convenient - although you probably need to rent a vehicle, and be prepared for a bumpy road. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent stay, enjoyed infinity pool. View was great. Very spacious. Except one night when roof leaked in many places and we all couldn’t sleep until rain / thunderstorm stopped at 2 AM. Also mosquito screen outside for dining area doesn’t work so couldn’t enjoy outside dinner on property.

Wonderful stay!

I stayed here with my friends for my 30th birthday trip and everything was amazing. The hosts were very communicative and had a concierge on standby for any information we needed. They even had 30th birthday Photo Booth props for me when I got there. The house was very clean and so was the pool. I highly recommend this villa for your stay in Turks & Caicos.

Spring Break Getaway

Long Bay Hills is a lovely property and was exactly what our family of five needed for a great spring break getaway. The home is very spacious and well appointed, the beautiful pictures are accurate. Our girls loved swimming in the pool and my husband absolutely adored the beautiful sunsets. Lovely and secluded beaches are just minutes away. Norilyn is there to greet you upon arrival and she does an excellent job of keeping things neat and tidy. A few things to keep in mind, the road leading to the house is a natural gravel road, so an off road capable vehicle is helpful (we rented a Jeep for the week, use Grace Bay Rentals and not Rent a Buggy). The bedrooms are on three different levels, so there are stairs. We hope to visit again soon!

Close to many beautiful beaches and restaurants but nestled in a private community. Cannot even see the house from the road. Narilyn (housekeeper) was awesome. Plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, and pool was very nice. Everything worked! We had a ball! Would love to return.

The house is absolutely stunning. Great modern place, very functional kitchen, BBQ grill. Loved the slatted windows & shutters throughout the home to prop open and enjoy the island breezes. The infinity pool is amazing, the deck is gorgeous and the views in every direction are fantastic! We loved our stay at Villa Valhead & Providenciales!

As expected

Overall the property was as listed, very nice. The bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent, comfortable beds and air conditioned. However, some sort of window shades would be recommended as it was impossible to sleep much past 6am with the sun beaming in. Which was OK, but some mornings you want to sleep a bit longer on vacation. Our biggest issue was the lack of indoor dining. Tough to eat or play games as all the screens were not working and would not lower. When we used the dining table everyone was eaten alive by bugs, the worst batch of bug bites I have ever had. You also could not open the shutters because the screens were not working there either. Also the dinnerware was chipped and fairly tired with no big plates, minor but annoying. For the price, a little more cable channels for sports would have been nice as well as better pool furniture and adding a few small outdoor side tables would be good. If the screens were working we would definitely rent this property again.

Excellent all around

Overdue on this review as we stayed at the villa several weeks ago. Can't say enough about how nice the property is. With 3 young children I was concerned there wouldn't be enough space, I was completely wrong. Kids loved the pool and having their own bedrooms. The house is very well supplied and in a great location. Will be returning for sure!
