'Purchased breakfast as an add-on to our 4-day hotel stay: * The first morning service and food were great. * The second day, there was one individual waiting tables for the whole dining room. The server refused to ask the chef if they would accommodate a special request. I ordered, but never received my drink and condiments for breakfast. * Third and fourth day, breakfast was mediocre. Conversely, I can't say enough about the woman working at the hotel check-in desk. She was extremely helpful...

'We enjoyed our one night stay here while we attended a concert! The front desk staff was pleasant and our room was clean! Our only issues was the toilet shooting water at us/ the surrounding area whenever we flushed. We mentioned it to the front desk staff at our departure. '

'Great little "Retro" hotel in the heart of the city. Walking distance to lots of great restaurants, as well as Forest Park. Love the coffee shop next to the hotel lobby A little noisy, as it seems the walls are pretty thin, but otherwise very clean and comfortable!'

'The parking structure is shared with other businesses, and only certain parking spots are designated for The West End guests. However, the staff did not provide any guidance about which floors the designated parking spots are located on. We were assigned to Room #216, which is next to the laundry room, even though other rooms appeared to be available. I could barely sleep all night because of the noise from the laundry room.'

'Upon check in I didn’t realize it was a gated parking lot, so I had to pay an extra $30 for 1 day of parking. They also charge a $50 deposit at check in as well. I already spent almost 200 a night to stay for one night so an extra $80 I wasn’t happy about. The beds also weren’t as comfy as they could have been but, other than that it was good! They had a really good selection for breakfast.'
