'The hotel is a traditional hotel and in someway a bit outdated. But just because of this, it has its charm. The location in Fort Townsend is awesome and the staff is friendly. The beds are good. We had a bathroom with a old-school bath. I can imagine that this for older people is a bit difficult to use as the shower because of the high step-in.'

'Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.'

'Such a beautiful old historic lodge. It was super great for nostalgic purposes. Beautiful view of Penn Cove from our room, superb cocktails and dessert from the bar, roaring fireplace in the lounge, clean and spacious shared bathrooms. Slow bar and dessert service from the lounge but to be fair there were only 3 women serving the entire very busy restaurant. Front desk was very efficient. 'Was een beetje bezorgd door het lezen van de recensies. Gebouw ziet er aan de buitenkant verouderd uit. Kamers zijn erg groot en schoon. Bed prima. Niks mis met onze kamer en daardoor was ik verrast. Geen geluidsoverlast gehad. Ontbijt was voldoende maar de ruimte is heel erg klein en in dezelfde ruimte als de incheckbalie.'
