Blokhutten in Port Republic

'Front desk staff were very friendly, and helpful, and I was greeted upon coming downstairs, or coming in the front door. Breakfast both mornings of my stay was excellent, with offerings I don’t usually see at most hotels. Entire hotel was clean, fresh, and up to date looking. Will definitely stay here again when I am in the area!'

'I loved the hotel however, the bathroom shower curtain bar was leaning forward and needs to be adjusted. Water from the shower kept getting all over the floor and we had to use the towels to soak up the floor water. So I called and they never brought new ones. I went to the front desk and they never brought new ones. On my way out I mentioned it and got points on my Marriott account. Did not do me any good. Thank goodness we had access to the pool towels. I gave a low rating on maintenance...

'This is a must see for yourself!! The owners have thought of every detail from the over the top welcome amenities to extras like offering beach chairs and towels to go explore the local beach! Breakfast was absolutely delicious! She even prepared a to go breakfast when she found out we had to leave out early one morning! We enjoyed home grown fruits and veggies from her garden daily! If you want to step back in time, but still have the comforts of modern day you have to got to visit this place!...

'Heel fijn hotel. Kamer ruim genoeg. Goed ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Mooie ligging en makkelijk om op de hoofdweg te komen. De niet roken Kamer rook helaas nog wel naar rook. '
