« We had the opportunity to stay at Linden Lodge for our son's baseball tournament in State College. The location was perfect - close to all local attractions but on a quiet secluded road. The views of the winery below were magnificent. Highly recommend visiting the winery as it is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. We hope to return again! »

« Each of the three bedrooms was set up with a queen-sized bed, and each one was clean. Entire house was clean. Two and a half bathrooms were clean and in good shape, except one toilet's handle broke when we tried to flush it. I believe this was going to happen sooner or later, and unfortunately it just happened to us. But the place was conveniently located and the host responded quickly to all questions. »

« Our 2 nights here were nothing short of perfection. We were in town for the weekend while we moved our daughter in to Penn State. Our family is also from a rural area so this property gave us peace and quiet that you can never find at a hotel. The house was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. We were also given cookies and a bottle of milk that may have been the most delicious milk I’ve ever had. We will definitely utilize this listing in the future for our next visit. »

« Beautiful remodel of an older house. We loved seeing the pictures of it from decades past! Lots of extras, like snacks, coffee, laundry supplies, toiletries, etc. Very comfortable beds and nice linens! Convenient to State College and perfect for our trip; would definitely stay again! »

« Not many options in Port Matilda, so we were lucky to find this place so close to the Marrasas Mountain Lodge. We were still able to get an Uber from state college. And swing into state college for breakfast and supplies. It was perfect for our family of 6. And we even hosted some friends after the wedding. The outside looked comfy but weather wasn’t cooperating (rain) to use it. Loved the blue white Penn state details. Host was super responsive with some last minute questions. »
