'Such a lovely place stay to stay! Truly a home away from home. The room appeared to be newly remodeled and decorated with a beautiful adjoining bathroom. In addition, the bed was so incredibly comfortable! The location was great and close to the university with private entry and access. The room had a small fridge and Keurig which was very handy. My son will be at Stony Brook a few years working in his PhD and will certainly be returning to this lovely little place for my next visit!'

'We traveled on Christmas Day with our daughter and grand children. It was such a treat to arrive to a warm house with Christmas decorations and tree in place. We were blessed with snow on Christmas evening and 8” of snow the day after. Claudia made sure we had a shovel and had someone salt down the sidewalk and stairs the next day. The added plus was all the toys in the upstairs closet and children gate for upstairs stairs. I would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the outside Fire...

All in all it was 5 stars for the effort and thoughtfulness. I feel as though there was an honest effort to make the stay accommodating and welcoming. However, to give an honest review I will say a few things that would have made it better. There was a ton of food in the fridge and freezer and although this was offered to us to use, there was not much room...
