Very peaceful place and will love to stay again

The place was very peaceful and it was super easy to communicate with the host. One little problem we faced was, the heat was not working in one of the bedrooms other than that everything was wonderful.

Fantastic location, comfortable house

The house had everything we needed for our family of 5 to be comfortable and was in a great spot with a beautiful yard to chill at the house or go hike nearby. It smelled a bit musty and we needed to take allergy meds for our dust/mold allergies BUT we loved the spot so much we didn’t care. We didn’t expect it to be new and perfect so that was fine, it was accurate to the listing.

Beautiful backyard, perfect for enjoying the quiet of the woofs

This is our second year staying here and we were so happy to have great weather so we could enjoy the beautiful backyard with the stream. Our kids loved exploring the backyard and all of the fun games in the game room. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing stream house

The listing description and photos were accurate and the property was clean. Everything we needed was provided. However, a couple of the drop ceiling tiles in one of the bedrooms was broken. The stream in the backyard was definitely a bonus

Perfect get away spot

The property was much more than we had hoped for. It rained our first days but the house felt like home so we had no problem staying in. When it wasn’t raining, we spent much of our time around the fire, playing in the creek, and seeing all the great stuff the community had to offer. Our favorite part were the deer that would walk through the stream every day. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a camping experience with all the comfortability of home

Cozy Comfortable home in beautiful location

First off - the nitty gritty. Clean*. Comfortable beds. Comfortable living area. Fully stocked and upgraded kitchen. Gaming room on back of house for recreation or just sitting and reading while enjoying the River. OUTDOOR SPACE - spectacular. Right along the decline of a running river so you hear the rushing water. Various seating - bench facing the river, hammock, circle around firepit - for enjoying nature alone or with others. Community - wonderful!! Lakes, beaches
 we’re definitely coming back in summer to take advantage of all the community has to offer. Teens and adults enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Our dog loved it - even got to bark at a family of deer - a highlight of his stay. Host - easy to work with, quick to respond to questions. *(I only gave it a 4 on cleanliness because there are a few minor spackling etc repairs that need to be done in the bathroom - but it was clean and we had no issue using bathroom, kitchen, etc. Would have given a 4.5 if I was allowed)

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The Shanti Streamhouse was PERFECT. The property was clean, the kitchen was equipped with all we needed to cook meals, and the beds were comfortable. The stream out back was the true gem of the property. My family and I loved the relaxing long weekend at the house. We are already planning our summer stay. Thank you for an amazing weekend.

best backyard in the Poconos!

We loved our stay here at Arrowhead Lake. The backyard was definitely the highlight of the house and we also loved the game room. House was clean, kitchen was fully stocked and Mamta was very responsive and helpful.

Sweet cottage

We got unlucky with the weather the week of our stay, it rained constantly. But the cottage was comfortable and we had a chance to use the grill a few times. The brook in the back was very soothing. The property manager was great at communicating. The area itself is nice and quiet, with the ponds and pools great for kids. Good for a laid back stay.

Started bad, but turn out amazing!

When arrived, Chek in went smooth. The place was amazing! Unfortunately water heater broke. When I contacted the owners, they responded immediately and tried to resolve it immediately. Unfortunately it was New Years eve and we couldn't get anybody! The next day they upgraded us to a nicer lake house. It was very nice. The communication was very good and we enjoyed our stay, with our 4 legged friend!

Family getaway

Excellent experience, with great outdoor stream in backyard. Walking distance to beach and nice quite walks on the block. Great place to stay with family and friends. Clean, quiet, and an awesome backyard for fun with family. Definitely recommend this house.

Loved our stay!

The house was great, clean and stocked with everything we needed. The property was beautiful and we spent a lot of time playing at and sitting beside the stream. At night we sat around the fire pit. The house is close to the lake, close enough for kids to ride their bikes. Kids loved the beach and we went out on kayaks. Owner was available to answer any questions, though we had only a few. We very much enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to visiting again.

A lovely home!

My friend and I enjoyed a short stay and truly enjoyed this home and property, especially sitting by the stream and waterfall. Communication with the hosts was a breeze. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. We look forward to a return visit!
