Five beautifully appointed detached villas, each over 1,000 square feet, are thoughtfully positioned across the island to maximize privacy and ocean views. Each villa features a spacious master bedroom suite, soaring bamboo ceilings, a luxurious resort bathroom with outdoor shower, high-end finishes, and custom local furniture — breezy, elegant, and designed to make you feel at home at the edge of the sea. The heart of the island is Kanu's massive thatch-roofed central palapa, where a large communal kitchen, bar, and sprawling living and dining areas bring everyone together. The design palette of coral stone, reclaimed wood, and accent shades of sea and sun creates an atmosphere that is as calming as it is beautiful. Just steps away, a large freshwater infinity pool flanked by sun loungers beckons from morning to sunset.

**GETTING FROM THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO KANU**
All international flights arrive and depart through Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City. After confirming your reservation, your Gecko concierge will reach out to coordinate all transfers.

A private shuttle van will meet you outside baggage claim at BZE and transport you directly to Placencia — approximately 2 hours on a fully paved road. Round-trip shuttle transfers are included in your stay. From Placencia, a private speedboat will transfer you to the island in just 25 minutes. All boat transfers to and from the island on arrival and departure days are included.

120 days or more prior to arrival: full refund less $450 booking fee
Less than 120 days prior to arrival: no refund
