Hostels in Pittwater Council

'I booked a double-bed room for two people, and the booking was accepted. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the room was still occupied. When I reported the issue, the male receptionist initially insisted that I had only booked one bed and seemed to blame me until I showed proof of my booking, after which his tone changed. Thank you to the female receptionist for apologising and offering us two capsule units instead. Despite this disappointing experience, the place is good for an...

'Het ontbijt was helemaal niks zonde van het geld. De kamers worden niet schoongemaakt en handdoeken moet je steeds vragen.'

'It still a hostel but it's clean and superbly located 2min from Kings Cross train station. Nice big common TV area with sofa's. Kitchen is huge and there's a patio so you can eat outside if you want. Plenty of showers and bathrooms. A bit loud sometimes but that's the other guests and not the hostel so you can be (un)lucky.'

'Upon early arrival Milo was a great help at reception! Overall stay was good, nice location, close to Central station, World Square, Paddy’s Market, many restaurants & shops.'

'Perfect and clean hostel. Middle of the centre and nice staff.'

'Arrived early in the morning at 6.00 after a 30 hours flight finding the hostel closed. I had to walk around the streets for 3 hours before they opened. Arriving back at the hostel they finally opened at 9.30, i explained my story to the receptionist and my only reply was they open at 9.00 and check in at 14.00. Then i asked if there were any beds available at the moment so i could catch some sleep after my long flights and again the only reply was check in at 14.00 You take the elevator to...

'Booked a private room in the hostel. Was among the cheapest rates in the city. Good location. Cleanliness okay. Comfort okay. Nice staff. '

'Great location, Clean and confortable. Simple continental breakfast thay will set you to start the day. Great staff, very helpful. Bathrooms and kitchen very clean, as well as the rooms.'

'The hostel is cosy and social. It’s not a party hostel, but people do socialise in the kitchen. The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around. I’m 193cm and couldn’t stretch out in the bed. Difficult to sleep. If you value your sleep, find another place. '
