The area suffered tremendous damage from Hurricane induced flooding last fall but community has shown their strength in overcoming such adversity. '

'This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It has everything we needed and more. The kitchen is well equipped. It is clean, quiet and close to West Jefferson and surrounding areas. If you are looking for someplace close to sightseeing or just need a place to relax and reset, this is it!'

'very clean and quaint! The cottage had everything you could possibly need and was well stocked with supplies . We did use the washing machine and it did not spin clothes very well. We had to hand wring them before drying. It was the retreat we were looking for. '

I fell in love with the screened in porch. I felt like i was in a tree house. My favorite spot was the outdoor couch. It's hard to believe it is early August and we could spend an entire day outside, even in the hot tub. '

'Beautiful landscaped yard with a creek that you can listen to while sitting on the cozy porch. Enjoyed visiting with the chipmunks, birds, hummingbirds and a huge blue heron flew by me on the porch. We felt incredibly relaxed during our visit. Home is cozy, beautifully decorated, clean and everything provided for our stay. Will be back!'
