The cottage itself was clean, simple, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I also really appreciated how close it was to a great coffee shop and some delicious local food spots. « Honestly, my husband, myself & our friends did not expect anything less! The home was very clean upon arrival. We had no problems checking in. The property owners made us aware that maintenance will be coming to the property to service the pool. If we had any questions they did not hesitate to respond. I think the longest it took them once was 1hr but they have a life too so we completely understood that. We did not get to enjoy the pool due to the rain. Let's not forget about the neighborhood...

« The neighborhood was quiet with older homes. I liked the location which was close to everything. We came for a conference and brought our family for a mini vacation. The house is older with charm but could use some updates such as painting the bathtub and fixing the drainage issue. Some of the kitchen floor tile needs repair and the torn up chair in one of the bedroom could be removed or replaced. Since it's listed as a vacation rental I think addressing those things along with a few more...

« Loved the charm of the house. "Historic" is an accurate term. Right next to Tuskegee University. Beds were comfortable. E-mail communication prior to the trip was great,, but when we tried the phone number that we were given, we were told it is an international number. »
