'This is a lovely 'gites' and an excellent choice for a two adults and two older children. There's quite a steep staircase to a mezzanine floor where the kids beds are so it may not be so good for smaller children. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The family apartment is very spacious and nicely decorated and is situated in the old groundskeeper's lodge. Best of all you get a massive garden in the back to yourself, and a covered and secluded hottub too. Excellent!'

'Lovely old house & gardens, undergoing a full renovation by the enthusiastic owners. We really liked it - if you like a bit quirky, you will like it too. There was also a very impressive & thought provoking WW1 memorial just a few miles away, that was well worth spending time in.'
