If I could leave a negative star, I would! This property is falsely advertised, as it’s as a living community where unrented rooms are rented out and labeled as “deluxe” studios. The rooms don't have keys (or key cards) but rather key pads and you are given a post-it-note with the code to get in. When I went to my room the door unlocked upon turning the handle, no code needed. When I went in the key pad was disconnected and only the deadbolt worked. When I went to the front desk to complain, they sent a maintenance worker and they confirmed it didn’t work and left, never to come back.
I had to go back to the front desk and they said they were going to try and get it fixed but they could not guarantee it would get fixed that day. I told them I felt unsafe staying in a room that didn't lock. They said there was nothing they could do, so I told them I wanted to check out. They said that was my choice. I then asked for proof of checking out and that said “we don’t do that. We just knock on the doors and if no one answers then we consider them as checked out.” When I asked about getting refunded they said I had to do that through Expedia.
It was an absolutely horrible experience, and that’s not mentioning the drug use I witnessed in the parking lot as well as the “watching” by residents of any new people entering the property.
Please do your favor and stay clear of this property!!
