⭐ 1 Star – Absolutely Disgusting. Do Not Stay Here.
I checked into Extended Stay America Phoenix Chandler expecting a basic, clean room. What I walked into was a health hazard.
There were dirty towels already in the room, as if the previous guests had just left and no one bothered to clean. The nightstand had a layer of dust so thick it clearly hadn’t been wiped in weeks. The shower curtain had black mold spots on it. Disgusting.
On top of that, the entire building smelled like cigarette smoke despite “non-smoking” signs everywhere. If you’re sensitive to smoke, forget it — you’ll smell it in your clothes and luggage.
We immediately checked out and requested a refund. We’re still waiting to hear back from the manager, which says a lot about how they handle complaints.
While waiting to check out, I warned other guests about the conditions. They asked to see their rooms first — and after seeing them, they left immediately too.
This place is poorly maintained, unsanitary, and clearly not being cleaned properly. Save yourself the frustration and stay literally anywhere else.
