Cottages in Pevensey

'Man kann alles nur mit den meisten Sternen bewerten. Eine Gastgeberin wie Penny kann man sich nur wünschen. Um die Jahreszeit war es schon recht früh dunkel. Alles kein Problem so gegen 16:00 h wieder einkehren, Kessel an teatime im Wohnzimmer sitzen und sich wohlfühlen. Bei der Anreise beim eintreten begrüßte uns schon der Tannenbaum. Man fühlte sich von Anfang bis Ende zu Hause. War wohl nicht der letzte Besuch.'

'Clean and warm cottage in the center of town, very quirky but a nice environment, it is on one of the few roads running through Rye so does suffer from some traffic noise although not too intrusive. Everything was in order on our arrival so all in all a nice place to stay. '

'Het huis is fantastisch ingericht en voelt als een warme deken. Alles is aanwezig. Het dorp is prachtig en de omgeving leent zich goed om een korte of lange wandeling te maken. Het enige minpuntje is dat de weg aan de voorkant vooral 's nachts erg lawaaiig is. '

'Nice quiet location that is centrally placed to visit all the tourist spots of East Sussex. Enormous grounds of the main house to explore and walk. Probably not suited for wheelchair users due to floor differences between bedroom/lounge area and kitchen and bathroom. '

'Lovely cottage, lovely people, lovely area. We had a really enjoyable time exploring the Sussex countryside. '

'We had a wonderful stay in the Cart Lodge cottage. Location was perfect - easily accessible from the main yet very quiet and secure with plenty of parking. Cottage had everything we needed - including very comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen (we cooked multiple times) and a cozy sitting room. Best feature: the sheep! Loved watching them from the window and feeding them digestive biscuits in the morning. We would definitely stay again.'
